Our Process

Here at NHJ Loft Conversions in Lancashire, we aim to keep our service straightforward and hassle-free. We believe that your home is your castle. Therefore, our process is specifically designed to help you convert your loft with minimum disruption to your home. We operate across the whole of Lancashire and the North West. If you need more room in your home simply follow the steps below

Step 1 – Get in Touch!

The first step towards your new loft conversion is to contact us. You can do this by phone, text, email, Facebook messenger, even a well-trained carrier pigeon if you have one! Though it might be easier to use our contact form. We are happy to discuss your project and answer any questions you may have. We can often provide an estimate by email to give you an idea of the costs involved in your project.

Step 2 – A Man with a Plan!

If you already have the plans for your project you can jump to step 3. However, if you do not have the plans for your project, we can arrange for our in-house architect to assist. Our architect fees are discounted for all NHJ Loft Conversion customers. So, in addition to saving you time by keeping everything in house, we could also save you money!

Step 3 – Home Visit

If you would like a home visit to discuss your project, our Managing Director is happy to accommodate. We can visit your property, discuss the design, requirements, materials and offer advice. If you would like a home visit prior to quote acceptance there will be a small fee. However, this is discounted off your overall quote should you proceed with the project through NHJ Loft Conversions.

Step 4 – Quotation

Once we have a copy of your plans, we will provide you with a written quotation. Unfortunately, any figures given without plans are simply estimates. We can only provide an accurate quotation once we have reviewed your plans.

Step 5 – Quote Acceptance

Should you wish to proceed with our quotation we will issue you with a contract of works. This document will cover everything both parties have agreed too, along with our terms and conditions.  In addition, the contract will detail the payment structure of the agreed quotation. As this is a legally binding contract, we advise all customers to read the document carefully prior to signing.

Step 6 – It is a Date!

When we have received your signed contract, we will provide you with a date to start works at your convenience. We will require the deposit detailed in your payment structure to be paid 14 days prior to this date.

Step 7 – Completion

NHJ Loft Conversions in Lancashire is committed to customer care. Your satisfaction is our reputation. As such we will keep you fully informed throughout the project. Furthermore, on completion of the project our Director Luke will visit to discuss any snags and sign off the project.
